| - SWFA coach Vera Pauw resigns |
Vera Pauw,
National Coach & Technical Director has officially resigned. She will
finish her post August 23 2002. Vera has revolutionised the National Squad and leaves a great foundation for women’s football. She has developed a programme and structure that any sport would be proud of and established the Scotland Women’s Squad as worthy opposition for any team. Vera has taken Scotland to another level, leading them to the 1st strength category in Europe, an outstanding achievement. The former Dutch Captain will now take up a coaching role at the KNVB (Dutch FA). She made 87 appearances with Holland dating back to the seventies and she also had 12 years experience as staff instructor and coach from 1986 - 1998. |
